This module provides knowledge of network security with network protocols, applications. Students are required to choose a security topic, to analyze and discuss it, suggest countermeasures against a specific attack.
Learning outcomes:
- Able to determine vulnerabilities in computer networks
- Able to analyze and discuss key issues in computer network security
- Able to use security tools to detect vulnerabilities and recovery
- Get to know algorithms and protocols in cryptography.
