This course provides some backgrounds of data integrity and practices to learners who may concern in the digital age. Data integrity is a measure of the validity and confidentiality of the data source. As a process, data integrity checking is to verify that there is no re-correction of data during the transit from creation to reception.
The questions such as of data integrity, data provenance and how confident does the downloaded data is, will be addressed for learners as the main target of this course.
In addition, the techniques to assure data integrity will be summarized for IT learners who need for software development. Specific learning outcomes are as follows.
- The learners understand the increasing trend of implementing data authentication services for users who can track data provenance.
