The aim of this course is to:
- Introduce advanced concepts in computer networks in general and the TCP/IP in particular
- Provide technical features on computer networks as detailed implementation
- Emphasize the wireless networking aspect and network management
A student will be able to:
+ explain the design and operation of Advanced Computer Networks, various wireless systems, principles of IP network security Protocols
+ configure device parameters on a testbed, depending on data communication and TCP/IP protocols, LAN switching, routing, WAN connection
+ design a complex network based on some technical requirement
+ identify the design issues in transport services in face of applications and services requirements, current QoS architectures, and mechanisms
+ discuss relevant management issues and adequate network management solutions, tasks performed as part of network management
